The IDPE 2026 Annual Conference will be held at Telford International Centre.
Located within walking distance of Telford town centre, Telford Town Park and the vibrant Southwater Square, which includes bars, dining options and a shopping centre.
Accommodation - how to book
Accommodation is not included in the delegate package and you will need to arrange this separately. There are two hotels adjacent to the conference centre with an additional three within walking distance. IDPE has secured preferential rates at the two onsite hotels.
IDPE's 'home'hotel - the Holiday Inn, onsite
We know how important it is for the IDPE community to be together throughout the conference and we've reserved most bedrooms at the Holiday Inn Telford - Ironbridge. Simply contact them directly on 01952 527 000 and quote IDPE2026 to secure a preferal rate of £116.67+VAT (Sunday 17 May 2026) and £140+VAT (Monday 18 May 2026). These rates are for single occupancy and include full English breakfast and parking.
The Holiday Inn has an onsite leisure club, bar/terrace and restaurant and is located adjacent to the conference centre.
The International Hotel - onsite. Includes access to the leisure facilities and restaurant next door at the Holiday Inn.

Refurbishment and rebranding of the Holiday Inn
The Holiday Inn is currently a 3 star hotel but is undergoing major refurbishment and will be rebranded as a 4 star Voco Hotel in April 2026*. This means the IDPE community will be one of the first events to use the new 4 star hotel.
*IDPE has received reassurances from the hotel that the project will be completed prior to the annual conference. IDPE however is not responsible for any unexpected delays and should the work not be finished, we would inform you as soon as possible.

Getting there
Travel by rail – Telford Central Station is a 10-minute walk or short taxi ride away and bus services also operate frequently between the train station and the venue.
Travel by air - If you're flying in, Birmingham International is approx. 50-minutes away by car and connections via train or car make the trip straightforward.
Travel by car - Telford International Centre is easy to access. By car, it's conveniently located just off the M54, with ample free on-site parking available.
