Legacy income has been rocketing for 15 years and is likely to continue growing for the foreseeable future. Developing and implementing a robust legacy strategy is crucial to gaining engagement with alumni and the wider school community, giving prospects time to act.

In this masterclass, legacy specialist Richard Radcliffe will draw on over forty years in fundraising to support you with setting clear objectives to ensure your strategy results in a great legacy giving culture.

The session is suitable for all school development offices, regardless of the level of investment in legacy fundraising. Delegates will leave with practical action points which, in these busy times, will be easy to fulfil.

Key learning areas will include:

• understanding the aim of a legacy strategy
• setting objectives for communicating to each generation
• the best channels and tools to use
• calls to action
• objectives for a great cultivation and stewardship programme
• establishing practical KPIs
