Bursary places

IDPE is committed to ensuring that the annual conference is accessible to all member schools and that all IDPE members can benefit from the training and networking available. Once again, we are offering a number of free places to individuals involved in schools' fundraising and/or alumni relations, who could not otherwise afford to attend.

Each bursary place will cover one day at the conference including all conference sessions and networking, lunch and daytime refreshments. Recipients will be asked, once a place has been awarded, to select their preferred day, based on the sessions that will be most beneficial to them.

Who is eligible?

Bursary places are available to fundraising and alumni relations professionals who work within an independent or state school, as well as heads, bursars, school business managers, governors and marketing professionals who wish to become more involved with development.

To qualify, your school must:

  • be an IDPE member
  • otherwise not be able to attend
  • have not already booked a representative to attend the conference

The application process

Please complete an application form by Friday 7 March 2025. Applications will then be considered by an IDPE bursary review committee made up of IDPE members schools. The decision of the committee is final. All applicants will be notified by email as to whether they have been successful week commencing 24 March 2025.

Please read the terms and conditions prior to submitting your application.

Thank you to our sponsors

In addition to the places funded by IDPE, many of our exhibitors are also funding places, showing their commitment to supporting the sector. If your place is being funded by an exhibitor, we will make you aware of this and would actively encourage you to reach out to them, either via the conference app or in person at the conference.

We would like to publicly thank those organisations that are helping us to make the annual conference as inclusive as possible by generously donating a day delegate place.
