Prices and packages
We appreciate the financial squeeze being put on all schools and to support members and enable them to benefit from the full conference experience, we have frozen the 2024 day delegate price for the full conference, and the cost of the evening dinner in addition to reducing the cost of the Sunday welcome reception.
Accommodation is included in this year's full conference package.
We know how important staying onsite is for many delegates and to ensure as many people as possible can stay at the venue, IDPE has included the cost of a bedroom in the full conference package. Find out what venue facilities are included when booking a bedroom.
Join us on Sunday 11 May 2025
Avoid the Monday morning rush hour and start your conference experience early on Sunday 11 May 2025. We're hosting a number of different events on Sunday including:
- Sunday leadership forum (14:00 - 16.30) – A session for experienced development leaders, focusing on 'Leading the change', managing difficult conversations and motivating your team. A place can be reserved when booking.
- Venue orientation - (15:00 - 15:30) - Familarise yourself with the conference venue, meet some of the IDPE team and other delegates ahead of the conference. This is free to attend and there is no need to pre-book.
- Welcome reception - (20.30 - late) - IDPE has exclusive use of Celtic Manor's roof terrace from 8.30pm until late. This is an informal drinks reception which gives you a chance to start networking early. You can reserve your place when booking.
Full two-day conference
Attendance at the full two-day conference on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 May 2025 for one person. This includes two conference days, refreshments, lunches and access to all sessions, conference dinner including wine and a drink on arrival, and one night B&B accommodation (single occupancy) on Monday 12 May 2025.

State school day only – Tuesday 13 May 2025
Attendance on Tuesday 13 May 2025 for one person. This includes one conference day, refreshments and lunches and access to all sessions. State school attendees can access specific sessions and networking opportunities alongside the main programme. During the afternoon there will be a two-hour State School Symposium, providing an introduction to schools' development and an opportunity to discuss relevant trends and opportunities.
