Prices and packages
To ensure the conference is accessible and welcoming to as many delegates as possible, we've introduced a range of measures to make attending easier and more affordable than ever. The total cost for a two-day place, including accommodation at the conference 'home' hotel, is now 10% lower than in 2025, while one-day places remain at last year's rates.
Accommodation is not included in our delegate packages for 2026, allowing you to select a local hotel that suits your budget. With two onsite hotels and a further three within walking distance, there is something for everyone.

Join us on Sunday, 17 May 2026
Avoid the Monday morning rush hour and start your conference experience early on Sunday, 17 May 2026.
- Join the Sunday leadership forum and drinks reception (14:00 - 20:30) – A session for experienced development leaders, full programme will be released soon. Find out more here. A place can be reserved when booking.
- Following feedback from members, we will not be offering a formal welcome reception on the Sunday evening. However, the IDPE team and trustees will be in the bar at the IDPE 'home' hotel, the Holiday Inn, from 20:30 and we'd love for you to join us.
Early bird, full two-day conference
The following prices include an early bird discount which is available until 17:00 on Friday 6 March 2026.Attendance at the full two-day conference on Monday 18, and Tuesday 19 May 2026, for one person. This includes two conference days, refreshments, lunches, and access to all sessions, plus the conference dinner which includes wine and a drink on arrival. The dinner will be held on Monday 18 May 2026.
