IDPE is working in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising (CIoF) to offer the only qualification designed specifically for those working in schools' development.
The IDPE and CIoF Certificate in Fundraising is aimed at those with 18 months' experience or more and the next course will commence in November 2024. It takes up to 12 months to complete and is designed to be conducted alongside employment. Find out more about the Certificate here.
The IDPE and CIoF Certificate in Fundraising is delivered virtually and is scheduled as follows:

Virtual Graduation Ceremony (Optional) - 3 December 2025
* Approximately 3-4 weeks before the first live teaching session, students will be sent an email with details on how to access the online learning platform. This email will also contain information on where to locate the pre-course exercise(s) and videos to watch which will take approximately 2-3 hours to complete in total, ahead of the first live teaching session to enable you to get the most out of the teaching. However, there isn't anything to 'submit' by a certain date, which is the case with the formal assignments.
** You will be required to complete four written assignments to be awarded the IDPE and CIoF Certificate in Fundraising qualification and further guidance is available from the course handbook.

This includes a one-year subscription to the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

All cancellations must be received in writing and emailed to info@idpe.org.uk. Cancellations received at least three weeks before the first training date will receive a full refund. No refund will be made for cancellations received within three weeks of the first training date. Any costs incurred from online payment will not be refunded.
